Thin flexible electrical grade polyester film (Mylar) for motor and transformer insulation
Electrical grade polyester film (Biaxially Oriented Polyester – BOPET, commonly known as Mylar) provides excellent electrical insulation in a thin, flexible format. It combines high dielectric strength with good mechanical strength and dimensional stability.
Polyester film is widely used for motor slot insulation, transformer layer insulation, capacitor dielectric, and cable wrapping where thin but reliable electrical barriers are required. It resists moisture absorption and maintains its properties across temperature changes.
