Electrical grade crepe papers and insulation tubes for transformer winding insulation
Electrical crepe paper is produced by mechanically creping electrical grade kraft paper, resulting in improved flexibility, elongation, and oil retention compared to plain paper. It is used in transformer windings, lead insulation, and conductor covering where flexibility and oil absorption are required.
The crepe paper range includes regular electrical grade crepe, thermally upgraded crepe paper, semi-conducting black crepe paper for electrical shielding, and aluminium foil crepe paper. Crepe paper tubes are manufactured from the same base materials and are used for lead insulation and bushing insulation in transformers.
