High-purity cellulose presspaper for transformer winding and motor insulation systems
Multiply presspaper is manufactured from carefully selected high-purity cellulose fibres using multi-vat cylinder machines and subsequently calendered to achieve a smooth, uniform surface with consistent thickness.
The paper consists of homogeneous layers with excellent mechanical strength, dielectric performance, and ageing resistance. It is suitable for use as winding insulation in transformers and as inter-layer insulation in coils and motors.
Thermally upgraded variants are available for applications requiring improved thermal endurance beyond the standard Class A rating. Diamond-dotted epoxy resin coatings can be applied on one or both sides to provide inter-layer bonding in transformer windings, preventing layer movement under short-circuit forces.
