Engineering grade acetal (POM) sheets for precision mechanical components
Delrin sheets are manufactured from Polyoxymethylene (POM), also known as acetal. This engineering thermoplastic offers exceptional dimensional stability, low friction, and excellent machinability, making it ideal for precision mechanical components.
The natural lubricity of POM makes it particularly well suited to wear-resistant applications such as gears, bearings, bushings, and sliding components. It produces smooth, precise surfaces when machined without extensive secondary finishing.
Delrin/POM sheets are available in natural (white) and black grades and in a range of thicknesses to suit different component requirements.
