FRP Threaded Rods & Nuts

Non-conductive fiberglass threaded rods and matching nuts for electrical assemblies

Overview

FRP threaded rods and matching nuts provide fully non-conductive fastening solutions for electrical assemblies and high-voltage equipment. They combine the mechanical fastening functionality of conventional threaded rods with the electrical insulation properties of fiberglass reinforced plastic.

These are used wherever metallic fasteners would create unacceptable electrical conduction paths, ground faults, or eddy current losses in electrical assemblies.

Supplied as matched sets of threaded rods and FRP nuts. Available in standard metric thread sizes.
